A WordPress site with unstructured content, rebuilt in Webflow after the content was cleaned and reorganised.

The client

TheRockGroup is a Dutch company active in the sustainable economy.

The starting point

The WordPress site held a large amount of content that was not structured or consistently formatted. Moving it as it was would have carried the mess into the new site.

What was done

  • Migrated the site from WordPress to Webflow.
  • Extracted the existing content with scripts (Python and scraping), then cleaned and reorganised it before import.
  • Rebuilt the content as structured Webflow CMS collections.
  • Kept technical SEO in scope through the move.
  • Added a newsletter integration and later updates after launch.
